Tomorrow by Rose Blake

(Ed. Note-This week we bring work by a young, up and coming poet named Rose Blake. Although the Eds. have brain damage–at least this Ed–older than Ms. Blake, she has something to say and we aim to help her say it. After all the future is now. Also we have recently changed our poetry presentation to all in one day, but Rose got in before that happened. Either way, it is the written word that counts most–Leila)

The bare breeze of a lover’s canvas

of mistakes

free of restraints of limits or fears

of the upcoming years

the worries you can’t free from the landscape

of your mindscape

all just seem to disappear into the grass

of tomorrow
