A deceptive full moon lures
an awakening of aspirations.
I react with alarm only to be disarmed
by this renewal of affection.
There is a genuine glow
that obscures the superficial.
The night air is as warm and sweet
as gentle entangled embraces.
Even the fireflies flash
well past deep darkness.

Not enough people these days understand that Nature is everywhere, and that means literally everywhere, we are. All one needs to do to have an encounter with nature is feel the breeze or look at the sky. One need not climb to the top of a mountain nor go scuba diving in order to have a profound encounter with Mother Nature. Not at all. Dogs are also nature, as are Cats, very much so and all the way. The way you compare/d the tiny fireflies to the gigantic moon in this piece reminds us that Nature is everywhere – including in the mirror. There isn’t a more important “lesson” right now. Stay where you are and realize that the Mystery is everywhere, including inside you.
