bell book candle the billigits have seen

are of hexopatha the wiccan queen

magnificent master of spelly spells

she knows the naughty nice and in-between

ii

nectar of nightshade and a sprig of gorse

kissed by a toadly toad of course of course

stir til the cracking of a three stone egg

‘tis the potion that births a flying horse

iii

the billigits taught the mare to fly

they named her peggy who was meek and shy

an appaloosa with speckled back end

she grew strong and bold in the skyly sky

iv

hexopatha was pleased with the billies

for their upbringing of her fly filly

so she gave her wee folk a just reward

a talking donkey whom they named willie

    This episode of the billigits rubaiyats has a spooky quality to it that, INDEED (and that’s totally cool), reminds me very, very much of Albert (Einstein’s) phrase and concept (and idea) “spooky action at a distance” – old Albert was skeptical of his own “spooky action at a distance” concept, but I feel this was simply because he was trying to toss it out into space and failing to look around him enough on this one. Not that we can hold that against him – he was at least as great a philosopher as he was a scientist, after all, and that’s NOT too shabby!

    When I was a kid, I loved (at a distance) two kinds of horses, the Appaloosa, and the Percheron.

      Although Willie is a cousin of another Donkey we know, rest assured he has a more amiable character. Still, one might question giving the billies a magic Donkey. It could lead to complications.
